Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Secunderabad to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from thirty three districts of Telangana State i.e. Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hyderabad, Jagtial, Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhoopalpally, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubnagar, Medak, Mahabubabad, Mancherial, Medchal, Mulugu, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Ranga Reddy, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban) and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri in Soldier Technical, Sol Technical(Aviation/Ammunition Examiner), Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant Veterinary, Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical, Soldier General Duty, and Soldier Tradesman categories. Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in Candidates are requested to bring their admit card, application & documents mentioned in the admit card at the rally site. Date and time of reporting at the rally site will be mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are advised to carry their Admit Card and documents in waterproof transparent document sleeves/sheet protection to guard against damage due to inclement weather.

Medical Exam of Candidates

Primary medical examination will be carried out with effect from 06 Mar 2021 onward at the Rally Site.

Sports Person

  • Sports certificates should be with registration number and from authorized Sports Federation. The Sports certificates issued by authorized Sports Federations are valid for two years from the issue date as on the first day of the recruitment rally, for which the candidate is screened.

(f) Sol Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) 17 ½ -23 0 01 Oct 1997 to 01 Apr 2003 162 Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 6 of this notification 77 cms with 5 cms expansion 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% marks in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.

Note. Education Certificates issued by Education Boards Affiliated to / listed by State/UT Govt, AICTE, CBSE and NIOS only will be considered.

  • It is mandatory for the candidates who have passed class 10th with GPA/Grade system to carry their mark sheet obtained from respective board. Candidate not carrying mark sheet will be disqualified in documentation

    Other Conditions.

    (a) The candidates should be medically fit to join Indian Army at the time of Rally. The Medical Standards have been uploaded on the website

    (b) Tatoo/Engraving Permanent body tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearm i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos on any other part of the body is not acceptable and candidate will be barred from further selection. Tribals with tattoo marks on the face or body as per existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case basis. The guidelines on dealing with such cases are as under:-

    (i) Candidates belonging to Tribal communities/from tribal areas, as declared by the Govt of India scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Orders Act/Lists (amended and modified from time to time) are permitted to have permanent body tattoos on any part of the body, as per existing customs and traditions of the said tribe to which a candidate belongs. Such candidates will only be permitted on producing the following two certificates:-

    (aa) Self certification certificate as per Appendix ‘D’ to be signed by the candidate.

    (ab) Certificate of belonging to a tribal community and permissibility of permanent body Tattoo(s) as per format at Appendix ‘E’ to be signed by either DC/DM or SDM of the District/Tehsil where the tribe of the candidate is presently settled (Name and designation of the concerned official must be clearly mentioned) or signed by Chairman/Secretary or any other senior member of the Tribe (Name, designation if any and address of the concerned member will be clearly mentioned).

    (c) Apply for Only One Category. A candidate can only apply for one category/trade.

    Advisory for Candidates for Submission of Online Application/Registration. Online application on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in has edit option available till the registration is open( 19 Jan 2021 to 17 Feb 2021 ) Please use it and correct the details if required / necessary. Candidate must ensure to submit the application again after the edit / correction has been carried out.

    Selection Procedure.

    Please read the following paragraphs carefully:-

    (a)Change in Rally Conduct Procedure Due to COVID. To avoid large gatherings at one place, Candidates will be directed to report to six (06) different Report Centres in the close vicinity of main venue (Telangana Sports School, Hakimpet). Details of Report Centres will be uploaded on the ‘Join Indian Army’ website separately after issue of admit cards. These Report Centres shall issue Rally Token to the candidates for participation in the Rally. Reporting will only be allowed at the nominated Report Centre for issue of Rally Token.

    (b) Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

    Note. The above are minimum prescribed standards and do not guarantee selectionas a right to candidates achieving them, Final selection will be based on merit position of the candidates.

    (c) Physical Measurement Test (PMT). As per eligibility requirement of category given at Paragraph 5 (Eligibility Conditions).

    (d)) Medical . (i) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally site.
    (ii) Unfit candidates will be referred to designated hospital for specialist review. Candidates referred for specialist review should present themselves to the nominated hospital within 14 days of the referral and report back to ARO for issue of Admit Cards for CEE, in case declared FIT.

    (e) Common Entrance Examination (CEE). (i) CEE will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Location, date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards. (ii) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself. (iii) Admit Card for the CEE for the review fit cases will be issued

    Document Required.

    Candidates must bring the following documents in original on the day of rally as per programme. The documents should arranged properly in a sequence and contained in a file cover along with two sets of Photostat copy of each duly attested by a Gazetted Officer with his name and seal in English. Candidates are advised to check their certificate and Marks Sheet for mismatch of name, Date of Birth, Parents name, School and other particulars in various certificates. All documents/ rubber stamp/seals should be in ENGLISH.The following documents in original must be brought by the candidates:-

    (a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size).

    (b) Photographs. Twenty copies of unattested Passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in light background not more than three months old. Computer Printouts / photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted.

    (c) Education Certificate. (i) Education Certificate with marks sheet in original of all educational qualification achieved by candidate i.e Class 8th / Matric / Intermediate / Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University. (ii) Provisional / Online Education Certificate should be certified in & signed by the head of the Educational Institution of concerned Board / University. (iii) Candidates with Matric Certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate Countersigned by BEO /DEO.

    (d) Domicile(Nativity) Certificate. Domicile Certificate affixed with photograph issued by Tehsildar/District Magistrate. Details to be filled in para 3 & 4 of Appendix ‘A’.

    (e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photographs of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate.

    (f) Religion Certificate . Religion Certificate issue by the Tehsildar/SDM (if religion as “SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN” is NOT mentioned in caste Certificate).

    (g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/College Principal/Headmaster, where the candidate last studied.

    (h) Character Certificate School Character Certificate with photographs issued by the Village Sarpanch/Municipal Corporation within last six months.

    (i) Unmarried Certificate Unmarried certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photographs issued by village Sarpanch / Municipal Corporation within last six months. (Format of Unmarried Certificate is attached as per Appendix B with the notification).

    (k) No Involvement Certificate. Certificate of No involvement in criminal cases as per paragraph 1 (d) of Appendix A.

    (l) Parent Consent Certificate. Candidates who are below 18 years of age will have to bring their parents consent certificate. Format of Affidavit on Non Judicial Stamp Paper is attached to this notification as paragraph 1(e) of Appendix A.

    (m) Details of Previous Rally. Details of Previous Rally attended by the individual is to be filled in paragraph 5 of Appendix A.

    (n) Relationship Certificate. Son of Servicemen (SOS)/ Son of Ex-Servicemen (SOEX)/ Son of Widow (SOW)/ Son of War Widow (SOWW) Candidates are required to produce the following documents:-

    (i) Relation Certificate issued from respective Records Office only duly signed by the Records Officer with Personal Number, Rank, Name and particular of the Records Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with Office Seal/Stamp is enclosed.

    (ii) A declaration to the affect as mentioned in theAffidavit on Ten Rupees NonJudicial Stamp paperprepared by the Ex-servicemen duly signed by 1st Class/Executive/Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit is attached as per Appendix ‘C’.

    (iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-servicemen also to be produced, Name and Date of Birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it.

    (o) NCC Certificate. (i) NCC A/B/C Certificate and Republic Day Parade Certificate should have photographs of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. A/B/C pass Certificate will only be accepted if it is authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders.

    (p) Aadhar Card and PAN Card. Aadhar Card and Pan Card is required as Identity proof.

    COVID-19 Certificate. All candidates will produce a COVID-19 Free/Asymptomatic Certificate and No Risk Certificate e when they report for the rally. Format attached as Appendix ‘F’ & ‘G’ respectively. respectivelyThe Certificate should have been issued within 48 hours prior to the rally reporting day.

    @ Note – (a) Relaxation in Physical Standards is either for wards of servicemen /Exservicemen or sportsmen (not both) and is in addition to the Special Physical Standards. (b) The Sports certificate issued by authorized sports federation are valid for two years from the issued date as on first day of the recruitment rally, for which the candidate is being screened.

    COVID-19 Advisory

    (a) Candidates will be thermally screened at the rally site. Candidates having temperature / showing symptoms will be directed to report again on a designated day earmarked by Recruiting Staff, for all such cases. If the candidate is again having symptoms, he will not be allowed to participate in the Rally. (b) All candidates will carry masks, gloves & hand sanitizers (c)DO’s and DON’TsWhile in Recruitment Rally. (i) Wear mask at all the time and before putting on mask, clean with soap and water. Replace mask with a new one as soon as it is damp and do not re-use single use mask. (ii) Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with soap, water or sanitizer during verification of documents and prior to appearing for the test. The same will be available at site. (iii) Maintain social distancing as per government orders amongst each other. Don’t touch your body parts on any surface unnecessarily. (iv) Maintain good respiratory hygiene ie cover your mouth and nose with tissue paper during cough or sneezing. Then dispose off the used tissue immediately in the covered dustbin and wash your hand with soap, water or sanitizer. (v) Inform and seek immediate medical attention in case of fever, cough and difficulty in breathing. (vi) Candidates are required to carry the mask and hand sanitizer alongwith them. (vii) Finally, be supportive, be careful, be alert and be safe.

    General Advisory.

    (a) Candidates to be self contained for food and water on the day of documentation, the day of screening and the days of medical examination. Candidates should make arrangement for stay under their own arrangements for three to four days. No candidate will be allowed to go out of the rally ground during the documentation/screening/medical tests. (b) Candidates are advised to report to the rally site strictly as per programme given on the Admit Card to avoid overcrowding and unnecessary waiting at rally site. (c) Candidates are advised to check their age and education criteria before participating in the rally. Candidates found under age / overage and not meeting education criteria will be disqualified. (d) Mobiles, tabs and calculators are not permitted at the rally site. Candidates must take care of their documents/belongings against theft during the rally. (e) Candidates are advised in their own interest to undergo medical exam before coming for selection especially with respect to flat foot, poor vision, deformities and physical measurements. All are advised to ensure that their ears are free of wax by getting it cleaned by a doctor prior to the rally. (f) If 180 days or more lapse between screening medical at the rally and dispatch, medical will be done again and unfit candidates in this review will not be recruited. (g) Negative marking would be applicable in CEE. (h) Result of written examination will be declared on the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. No separate letter will be sent to the candidate. It is responsibility of candidate to check his result and report to ARO for documentation. (j) Single Bank Account, PAN Card and AADHAR Card. Single Bank account, PAN Card and latest updated Aadhar Card are mandatory documents for final enrolment for purpose of pay and allowances and other social benefits scheme. (k) Candidates will be permitted entry into the rally site only on production of Admit Card in duplicate generated online through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Anyone found with fake admit card will be handed over to Civil Police. (l) Certificates with overwriting, tampering of seals or erasing / alteration of any type will not be accepted.

    Cautions for all Candidates.

    (a) No compensation for death/ injury / loss etc during the rally and No Travelling Allowance / Dearness Allowance for journey is admissible. Candidate will participate in the rally at their own risk and the participation is totally and entirely voluntary.

    The signing of Indemnity Bond is a mandatory requirement.

    (b) Biometric identification and hand writing analysis will be done at each stage. Imposters will be caught and handed over to Police.

    (c) Use of any unfair means will make the candidate liable to disqualification at any stage of recruitment whenever found. He will be handed over to Police thereafter.

    (d) All documents submitted by the candidates are verified by government agencies before enrolment into Army. Strong legal action will be taken against individuals submitting fake documents. Even after recruitment, the service will be terminated if candidates are found to have produced fake documents or gave wrong information at the time of recruitment despite the number of years of service individual may have rendered.

    (d) Random check for use of performance enhancing drugs will be carried out on candidates during the recruitment rally. Use of any such drug is strictly prohibited. In case detected, candidate will be debarred from recruitment process. All candidates are advised to refrain from use of physical performance enhancing drugs.

    (e) Military service is a volunteer service.

    (f) Selection is provisional till Rahdari Certificate is issued and candidates are dispatched for training.
